The Apebox S2 is a compact satellite receiver with an HDMI connection with a smart card slot. In addition, the full HD receiver offers a LAN connection, an AV output, and an optical digital audio output (Toslink). Thanks to the external infrared receiver, this receiver can also be hidden e.g. B. be installed in a closet. Thanks to the support of the H265/HVEC standard, the small receiver is future-proof.

The side USB ports have several functions, on the one hand, a USB stick can be connected here to playback media files and on the other hand, a hard drive can be connected here to use the integrated recording function of the receiver.
